The Drought in Victoria affects us all greatly in Vic.
To show you how bad it is to some extent i will include pics.(well try to anyway). This is 1 of 3 reservoirs in kyneton. It is at half a percent.\\
It is so dry you can just about walk throught the whole entire lake. Just a year ago the lake was at around 15 percent, not much but better than half. Here is another photo Know this is what the little creek looks like below the reservoir(1 yr ago) Know this creek is just about dry and has several small dead fish around.(sorry no pic for this 1)
But the bad part is that this lake is in a group of 3 this one at half a percent the next at 50 and the last at 2 percent. And this water has to provide for bendigo a big bush town and sourounding areas. Plus the area of kyneton, because bendigo’s main reservoir lake eppaloch is now at 3percent. (This photo was taken when the reservoir was at 8 percent). In the year 2000 this big lake was at full capacity. There is also many big dry lakes in the halls gap area and in fact the lot of victoria. WE NEED RAIN!!!!

Jan 05, 2007 7:40 pm - yeah forgot to mention that in victoria green grass is a thing of the past its all dry yellow or whatever now no wonder bushfires happen so easily
Jan 05, 2007 8:46 pm - that is bad, I have a feeling that "global warming" may have something to do with that weather there. The weather worldwide is getting more unusual for any particular region.
Jan 05, 2007 9:16 pm - Exploration eggs are awesome, but please find a good spot to explore. Wartorn places, abandonned spots and creepy place are all the rage on RE
Jan 06, 2007 2:19 am - Wow there’s not too many times I’m happy about rain but if I lived there, when it finally started raining, I think I’d use that as an excuse to get drunk.
